Stanford Peng

President and Head of Research & Development at Alpine Immune Sciences

Stanford Peng has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and biotechnology industry. Stanford started their career at Benaroya Research Institute, where they served as the Head of the Rheumatology Clinical Research Unit and Clinical Associate Member from 2009 to 2014. Stanford then moved on to Seattle Genetics, where they held the position of Executive Medical Director in 2014 and 2015. Following that, they joined Stemcentrx, Inc. as the Chief Medical Officer from 2015 to 2016. Most recently, they have been working at Alpine Immune Sciences since 2016, where they hold the position of President and Head of Research & Development.

Stanford Peng completed a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree at Stanford University, where they studied Music and Biological Sciences. Afterwards, they pursued a Doctor of Medicine and a Doctor of Philosophy degree at Yale University School of Medicine, focusing on Medicine and Biology. Stanford then completed a Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Following that, Stanford Peng undertook a Fellowship in Rheumatology at Brigham and Women's Hospital. In addition to their education, they have obtained certifications in Internal Medicine, Physician (from the Washington State Department of Health and Medical Board of California), Registered in Musculoskeletal (RMSK) Sonography (from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography), and Rheumatology (from the American Board of Internal Medicine).
