Charlie Olmert

Charlie Olmert is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Investing Senior Associate at Alpine Investors since September 2025. Olmert previously held the role of Investment Principal in the CHIPS Program Office at the U.S. Department of Commerce from January 2024 to June 2025. Earlier experience includes serving as an Investing Associate at Alpine Investors from September 2022 to January 2024, along with internships at Hildene Capital Management, LLC, and Premier Lacrosse League. A unique aspect of Olmert's background includes working as a pirate on a family-friendly ship in the Annapolis harbor during summers from 2014 to 2017. Academically, Olmert graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with an AB in History & Literature, a minor in Economics, and a French Language Citation, following education at Severn School.
