Juris Ulmanis

Juris Ulmanis is an experienced professional in the field of quantum technologies, currently serving as the Director of Quantum Technologies and Senior Research Leader at AQT since November 2019. Additionally, Juris holds the position of Scientific Director and Co-founder at moleQule since November 2017. Earlier roles include being a Graduate of the Quantum Machine Learning stream at Creative Destruction Lab, a Postdoctoral Researcher and Senior Scientist at the University of Heidelberg from 2010 to 2017, and positions of Research Assistant and Software Engineer at the University of Latvia from 2007 to 2010. Juris began an academic career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at LZH - Laser Centre Hannover e.V. from October 2007 to March 2008. Juris Ulmanis earned a Dr. rer. nat. in Physics from Heidelberg University, a Master's degree in Physics from Latvijas Universitate, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the same university, with ongoing studies at Leibniz Universität Hannover since 2007.
