Filip Kostrunek

Filip Kostrunek is an accomplished network professional with extensive experience in network architecture and engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Network Services and Senior Network Architect at Alpiq, Filip has successfully shaped the company's network infrastructure in alignment with modern security practices. Previously, Filip took on leadership roles at SITA, managing multiple engineering teams for the Air Traffic Industry, and at Carrier, where responsibilities included LAN, WLAN, and WAN projects. Prior roles include Senior WAN Network Engineer at Novartis, Lead Consulting Engineer at Verizon Enterprise Solutions, and Technical Project Director at Huawei, building a strong background in telecom network design and implementation. Filip holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications from Czech Technical University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Information Systems from University of Defence.
