Matias Berais Rubio

Matias Berais Rubio is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commercial and managerial roles. Currently serving as Country Manager for Alprestamo in Uruguay since October 2022, Matias oversees the company’s operations in the region. Prior to this, Matias held a commercial executive position at Paganza, managing tasks related to commercial and marketing areas. Matias was also a partner at GARUFA La Paloma, a family-owned culinary venture, and worked as a rentals technician at Mammoth Mountain, specializing in ski and snowboard equipment. Earlier career highlights include a commercial executive role at Banco Santander, focusing on individual client services. Matias is pursuing a degree in Administration and Business Management at Universidad de la República, with an expected graduation in 2025.
