Cole Carlson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Cole is currently serving as the Chief Legal Officer at ALPS South since August 2022. Prior to that, Cole worked at GrayRobinson, P.A. where they held various roles, including Shareholder, Senior Associate, Associate Attorney, and Law Clerk from 2014 to 2022. Cole also worked as a Summer Associate at Gray Robinson, P.A. in 2013. Before that, Cole served as a Law Clerk at The Law Offices of Ben Stechschulte from January to May 2013. Cole gained valuable experience as an Intern for Stefan Stein at GrayRobinson, P.A. in 2012, where they reviewed patents, refined drawings, and helped with drafting responses to Office Actions. In 2011, Cole interned for Judge Herbert Baumann at the 13th Judicial Circuit, where they observed court proceedings and argued a hypothetical motion. Cole's earlier work experience includes roles such as Plant Operations Assistant at Vanderbilt University from 2007 to 2011, Workflow Coordination Intern at Medco Data, LLC in 2009, and Crystal Growth Intern at VLOC from 2008 to 2009.
Cole Carlson began their education at Vanderbilt University in 2007, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2011, they went on to attend Stetson University College of Law. From 2011 to 2014, Cole studied Intellectual Property Law and earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
