Ahmad Sahyouni has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Ahmad started their career in 2000 as a System Engineer at EBLA Consultancy Company. From 2001 to 2006, they worked as the Manager of the Service Management Center at Qualitynet. Ahmad then moved on to Gulfnet Communications Company, where they served as the Customer Service Manager from 2006 to 2008. Following that, they joined Alghanim Industries as the Head of the Retail Contact Center from 2008 to 2015.
In 2015, Sahyouni joined Alshaya Group and held multiple positions within the company. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the Senior Manager of System Processes & Support. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Senior Manager of Customer Marketing & Communication MENA. From 2019 to 2020, they took on the role of Senior Manager of IT Business Partner CRM, CX, and HR. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Vendor Management Contracts & Commercials at Alshaya Group, starting in 2022.
Before their current role, Sahyouni worked at Ottu as the Senior Business Director from 2020 to 2022. Overall, their experience spans various responsibilities within the fields of system engineering, service management, customer service, retail contact center management, and vendor management.
Ahmad Sahyouni, MEng, holds a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University), which they earned from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering at the same university from 1993 to 1996. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained several certifications, including Financial Regulation: From the Global Financial Crisis to Fintech from MITx on edX in 2020, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Accenture in 2010, Leadership International Development Program from Deloitte in 2010, and ILM Level 3 from ILM in 2009.
