Harro Effertz

Harro Effertz is an experienced legal and compliance executive currently serving as the Vice President - Legal & Compliance for the Region Europe at Alstom since February 2021. Prior to this role, Effertz held various leadership positions at Bombardier from September 2005 to February 2021, including Vice President roles overseeing Global Bid Governance and Contracts, Commercial & Legal, as well as Strategy & Transformation within the Rolling Stock Equipment Division. Effertz has also served as Senior Director and Director within Bombardier, leading contracts and services for the Business Unit Bogies and overseeing projects such as the establishment of a bogie technical center in Netphen, Germany. Effertz began a legal career at Pilartz & Balze as an attorney at law from January 2004 to August 2005. Education includes a 2nd State Degree in Law from Landgericht Ravensburg and a 1st State Degree in Law from Universität Trier.
