Silvia Martini

Silvia Martini serves as the Green Energy Director at Alstom since June 2021, where responsibility includes leading innovative battery, power, and autonomous energy solutions for rolling stock and service businesses, as well as managing new technologies and the tender process. Previously, Silvia held the position of Commercial Director Switzerland, leading a commercial team to drive sales across all business lines. Prior experience at Bombardier Transportation included roles as Group Bid Director and Senior Bid Manager, where management of bid processes for European markets and proposals for rolling stock opportunities was key. As Project Manager, timely project delivery for electrical locomotives for New Jersey Transit Corporation was ensured. Silvia's earlier career at Thales Alenia Space involved serving as a Senior Propulsion Engineer on significant European Space Agency projects. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and an MBA in Business Administration from Finmeccanica Corporate Education.
