Taoufik Mounib

Taoufik Mounib, PMP, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in transportation projects. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Alstom, Taoufik oversees the turnkey delivery of the Edmonton LRT Valley Line South, focusing on critical phases such as Testing & Commissioning and Service Commencement. Prior roles include Senior Engineering Project Manager at Alstom, where Taoufik led projects for the Edmonton Valley Line LRT PPP DB Contract and contributed to Toronto's transit expansions. Taoufik's tenure at Bombardier Transportation included key leadership positions, notably as Head of Engineering for the Riyadh Metro Line 3 Project. Previous experience includes ownership and direction at Gulf Mobility and significant contributions to the Dubai Metro project while at Dubai Municipality. Taoufik holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning with a Transportation Concentration from the American University of Sharjah, along with engineering degrees from CentraleSupélec and Université de Rennes I.
