Curtis Emerson

Curtis Emerson has extensive experience in finance, accounting, and transaction advisory services. Curtis most recently served as the Chief Accounting Officer at Alta Mesa Resources starting in October 2019. Before that, they worked as the Interim CFO for Century Natural Resources from May 2019 to October 2019. Curtis also held the position of Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting Consultant at Talos Energy from October 2018 to October 2019. Prior to that, Curtis was the Interim Controller at Berry Corporation from January 2018 to March 2019. Curtis gained experience in transaction advisory services as the Vice President at Houlihan Lokey from July 2016 to January 2018. Curtis has also served as the VP Finance & CFO at Terra Oilfield Services & Terra Oilfield Solutions from September 2014 to March 2016, and as the Controller at Direct Energy's Bounce Energy from August 2013 to April 2014. Earlier in their career, they held the role of Vice President Finance and Controller at Bounce Energy from March 2010 to August 2013. Curtis began their career at Ernst & Young, where they worked as a Senior Manager in Transaction Advisory Services from July 2005 to March 2010.

Curtis Emerson completed their education at Trinity University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration. Curtis attended the university from 1994 to 1998. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Accounting from Trinity University, completing it from 1998 to 1999.
