Jean Crow Crowther, AICP, serves as the Principal and Innovative Mobility Group Leader at Alta Planning + Design since May 2010, focusing on sustainable transportation and community active living. With a rich background in promoting healthy communities, Jean co-founded globalbike, Inc., a nonprofit organization, and held various roles, including Associate Director at Partners for Active Living and Program Manager at both Palmetto Conservation Foundation and Austin Parks Foundation. Jean's early career included freelance writing for the Spartanburg Herald Journal. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in City & Regional Planning from Clemson University and a Bachelor’s degree in Religion and History from Furman University.
