Sam Corbett

Sam Corbett is a principal at Alta Planning + Design, a position held since October 2022 and previously from July 2018 to June 2021. With extensive experience in transport planning, Sam has served in various leadership roles, including Section Leader and Senior Associate at Jacobs from May 2015 to May 2017, and Principal Transport Planner and Senior Transport Planner at Auckland Transport from July 2012 to May 2015. Sam's earlier career includes positions at Alta Planning + Design as Senior Associate from February 2010 to July 2012, Assistant Director at UC San Diego from June 2006 to January 2010, and Manager of Planning and Analysis at UCLA from 2004 to 2006. Sam holds a Master of City Planning in Transportation Planning from the University of California, Berkeley (1999-2001) and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning from the University of California, Davis (1992-1996).
