Dave Twardowski

Dave Twardowski has worked in the financial industry since 2006. Dave's career began at GE Aviation, where they held the role of Lead Engineering Consultant from 2006 to 2009. Dave then moved on to the Institute for Defense Analyses, where they were a Research Intern from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, they joined Dimensional Fund Advisors, where they held the roles of Vice President - Strategy Research and Research Associate until 2019. Dave then moved to Avantis Investors, where they were Vice President, Investment Strategies until 2021. Currently, they are Chief Investment Officer at Altafid, a role they have held since 2022.

Dave Twardowski obtained their B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island in 2004. Dave then went on to earn their M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2005. In 2007, Dave began their Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences at Dartmouth College, which they completed in 2011. In 2020, Dave obtained their Series 63 certification from FINRA. Dave is currently in the process of obtaining their Series 7 certification.
