Leeland Sundsten

Leeland Sundsten possesses extensive experience in operations management and plant operations within the energy sector, currently serving as Operations Manager for Central Alberta at AltaGas Ltd. since April 2012. Sundsten's previous roles include Operations Superintendent and Operations Training Coordinator at AltaGas, where responsibilities involved supervising staff, managing compliance with regulations, and developing training competencies. Prior to AltaGas, Sundsten held positions at Husky Energy, NOVA Chemicals, Solex/Taylor NGL, and Signalta Resources Ltd., where a variety of operational and safety responsibilities were undertaken, including plant control and equipment management. Sundsten completed a degree in Power Engineering Technology and holds a 1st Class Power Engineer certification from NAIT.
