Phillip Arroyo M.s.

Phillip Arroyo M.S., CSP, ASP, CFE, FSCEO serves as the Assistant Fire Chief for the City of Deer Park, Texas, since May 2008, while also holding positions as a TCFP Fire Recruit Instructor at FD Tactics Training LLC and a TCFP Recruit Academy Wage Instructor at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service - TEEX. In addition, Phillip has been the Corporate Health, Safety and Environmental Manager - Execution for AltairStrickland, LLC since May 2016. Previous roles include Corporate HS&E Specialist at Thorpe Specialty Services Corporation from 2011 to 2016 and Director for the Greater Houston Chapter’s Northern Branch at American Red Cross from 2008 to 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Indiana State University, a Certificate in Fire Service Chief Executive Officer from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, a Master Firefighter designation from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection, and a Certified Fire Executive credential from the Texas Fire Chief Academy. Phillip also holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Health and Biology from the University of Houston.
