Andrea Rico

Andrea Rico has a strong background in healthcare contracting and network development. Andrea started their career as a Provider Relations Representative at SynerMed, Inc. in 1997 and worked their way up to become a Network Development Specialist at CareMore Health Plan. At NAMM California, they served as a Contract Manager and later as a Director of Contracting, overseeing provider, ancillary, and hospital contracting for 15 IPA's. Andrea then joined Adventist Health as a Senior Director of Physician & Home Health Contracting, where they were responsible for negotiating contracts and performing network development. Andrea then moved to Optum Care, where they served as Vice President of Network Development. Andrea'smost recent role is Vice President of Contracting at Altais.

Andrea Rico earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from California State University, Los Angeles. Andrea attended the university from 1995 to 1999.
