Ches® Patricia Duarte

Health Educator I at AltaMed

Patricia Duarte, CHES®, began their work experience as a Volunteer Coordinator at KID HEALTHY in September 2016, where they served until April 2017. In January 2017, they joined COPE Health Scholars as a Health Scholar and held this position until April 2018. From October 2017 to July 2018, they worked as a Health Fellow at AltaMed Health Services. Following this, they worked as a Community Health Promoter at Dignity Health from September 2018 to October 2019. Patricia then joined Dignity Health St. Mary's Medical Center in February 2020 as a Community Health Coordinator and remained there until August 2022. Currently, they are working at AltaMed Health Services as a Health Educator I, starting in August 2022.

Patricia Duarte, CHES®, completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Health Science at California State University, Fullerton, from 2012 to 2017. In addition to their degree, they hold certifications in California Food Handler Card from Premier Food Safety, obtained in March 2017, and Basic Life Support Provider from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association, obtained in December 2016.
