Liselda Fabian

Manager, Workforce Development at AltaMed

Liselda Fabian has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Liselda started their career at Oberlin College as a Latino/a Community Coordinator in 2001. Liselda then worked at California Cryobank as a Cord Blood Educator-Inside Sales from 2003 to 2007. In 2007, they joined Cerritos College in an admissions role before transitioning to Occidental College in 2008. At Occidental College, Liselda held various positions including Administrative Assistant, Internship Coordinator, and Assistant Director for Internship Development. Liselda also served as the Interim Assistant Director for Intercultural Affairs during their time there. In 2016, Liselda joined Emerson College-Los Angeles Center as the Associate Director for Internships & Experiential Learning. After two years, they moved to AltaMed Health Services in 2018, where they initially worked as the College Pipeline Supervisor and later as the Manager of Workforce Development. Additionally, in 2023, Liselda was selected to participate in the 2023 Workforce Leadership Network program at Coro Southern California, where they enhanced their leadership and management skills.

Liselda Fabian completed their B.A. in American Studies at Carleton College. Liselda then obtained a M.E. in Post-Secondary Administration & Student Affairs from the University of Southern California. Later, they pursued a Human Resource Management-Certificate at California State University, Long Beach. Additionally, Liselda obtained certifications in Workforce Leadership Network from Coro Southern California and Human Resource Management from California State University, Long Beach.
