Melitza Chinchilla

Melitza Chinchilla has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Melitza began their professional career as an Environmental Resources Intern at the Berkeley Institute of the Environment in 2009. From 2011 to 2011, they worked as a Project Assistant at Moore & Associates. In 2012, Chinchilla served as an AVID Tutor at Keppel Academy.

Chinchilla then transitioned into the dental field, joining Western Dental Services in 2013. Melitza initially worked as an Operations Trainee for a brief period from January 2013 to April 2013. Later on, they took on the role of Business Manager from May 2013 to September 2015.

In 2015, Chinchilla joined AltaMed Health Services, where they held various positions. Melitza started as a Dental Supervisor from September 2015 to June 2017. Melitza then became a Dental Program Specialist from July 2017 to May 2018. Chinchilla's next role at AltaMed Health Services was as an Oral Health Unit Manager, which they held from February 2018 to February 2022. Currently, they serve as the Director of Outreach and School Based Programs at AltaMed Health Services, a position they have held since March 2022.

Melitza Chinchilla attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Their field of study included Development, Urban Economics, and Architecture.
