Senior Director, Strategic Growth & Expansion PACE at AltaMed

Pearl Kim has extensive work experience in healthcare and social work, with a focus on program development and patient experience. Pearl is currently working at AltaMed Health Services as the Senior Director of Strategic Growth & Expansion for the PACE program, where they are responsible for planning and opening new PACE centers. Prior to this role, Pearl worked as the Director of Voice of the Customer, overseeing patient experience initiatives and gathering data for analysis. Pearl also served as the Director of Member Services, ensuring regulatory compliance for grievance and appeals processes. Earlier in their career, Pearl managed the Social Work Department for the PACE program and worked as a Project Manager for senior care services. Outside of healthcare, they have experience as a Volunteer Coordinator for Five Acres, a foster care facility. Pearl holds a Master of Social Work degree.

Pearl Kim holds a Bachelor's degree in International Developmental Studies from UCLA. Pearl then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. In addition, they are also a Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) from the Patient Experience Institute.
