Fabio Fais has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, spanning over 15 years. Fabio currently holds the role of Vice President Technology at Altamira Therapeutics, where they have been working since 2019. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2023, they served as the Director of Technical Development at the same company.
In addition to their work at Altamira Therapeutics, Fabio has also held positions at various other organizations. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Senior CMC Project Manager at Auris Medical AG, where they were responsible for technical and project leadership in CMC-related activities.

At these organizations, they gained expertise in formulation development, drug product formulation and process development, and nanomedicine.
In addition to their industry experience, Fabio has also contributed to the academic field. Fabio was an invited lecturer on patenting and technology transfer at the Università degli Studi di Milano, and they have served as a delegate to scientific task groups at the Associazione Nazionale Biotecnologi Italiani.

Fabio Fais completed their high school education at Primo Levi from 1997 to 2001. Fabio then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology at Università degli Studi di Trieste from 2001 to 2004. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Medical Biotechnologies from the same institution from 2004 to 2007.
