Mariana Inês Silva

Mariana Inês Silva has a diverse range of work experiences. In 2015, they completed two internship roles at Instituto Português de Oncologia do Porto (IPO-Porto) and Centro de Investigação Médica da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto, where they gained comprehensive knowledge of cancer and its treatment strategies. Mariana also worked as a scientific researcher at Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade do Porto in 2015. In 2016, Mariana served as a Master Thesis student at The University of Edinburgh, focusing on the role of JMJD6 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Mariana then worked as a scientific researcher at CICECO - Aveiro Institute of Materials, where they conducted intensive research on nanofilm production with urease incorporation for osteoinduction applications. Mariana worked as a Front-End Developer & Web Designer at Livetech - Agência Web from October 2021 to January 2023. Most recently, they joined Altar.io in May 2023 as a Front-End Styling Developer.

Mariana Inês Silva has a diverse education history. Mariana pursued a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Bioengineering (Molecular Biotechnology) at the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto from 2011 to 2016. Following this, they attended the Academia de Design e Calçado from 2020 to 2022, where they completed a Technological Specialization Program in Multimedia Product Development. Currently, Mariana is enrolled at EDIT. - Disruptive Digital Education, studying User Experience & User Interface Design, from 2022 to 2023.
