Computer Vision Engineer at Alteia

Aurélien Vila has held various roles in the field of computer vision engineering. In 2020, they began working as a Computer Vision Engineer at Alteia. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Computer Vision Engineer at Delair, where they developed and integrated computer vision algorithms for a cloud-based drone data processing platform. Aurélien also developed a quality test pipeline to monitor the evolution of algorithms. Additionally, they were responsible for processing data from drone campaigns for agriculture. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Stagiaire at UMR CNRS/MCC 3495 MAP, Laboratoire MAP GAMSAU, where they set up a calibration method for a Reflectance Transformation Imaging device and developed programs for generating RTI files. In 2016, they were a Stagiaire at Perazio Engineering, where they set up an image development chain for the Chauvet-Pont-d'Arc cave scanning campaign and implemented algorithms for automatically excluding blurry photographs. In 2015, they worked as a Démonstrateur at Canon France and as a Stagiaire at Espace Albert-Kahn Musée et jardins.

Aurélien Vila completed a Master 2 (M2) in Photography from Ecole nationale supérieure Louis Lumière between 2014 and 2017. Aurélien then went on to pursue a Mastère spécialisé in Photogrammétrie, Positionnement et Mesure de Déformations (PPMD) from Ecole nationale des Sciences géographiques between 2016 and 2017. Finally, they completed a Master 2 (M2) in Informatique Graphique et Analyse d'Images (IGAI) from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III between 2017 and 2018.
