Geoffrey Rousseau has worked in multiple roles in the geospatial industry since 2014. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Chargé de Production de Données at AIRINOV. In 2014, they were an Ingénieur d'études en traitement, analyse et représentation de l'information spatiale at LETG Brest - Géomer, where they pursued research on maritime activity detection and developed a method using eCognition. In the same year, they completed a stage de fin d'étude at LETG Brest - Géomer, during which they conducted research on satellite imagery and developed a method using QGIS, SagaGIS, and OrfeoToolBox. From 2017 to 2018, they were a GIS Analyst at Airware, based in San Francisco and Paris. Geoffrey then worked as a Mines and Quarries Project Manager at Delair from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they are a Mines and Quarries Project Manager at Alteia.
Geoffrey Rousseau obtained a Licence in Géographie from Université d'Angers between 2007 and 2010. Geoffrey then went on to earn a Master IMAGE in Télédétection et cartographie from Université de Rennes 2 between 2012 and 2014.
