Finance Manager

Altenar is a leading B2B provider of software services, specializing in high-load software development and providing one of the best technology solutions for the iGaming industry worldwide. Altenar was founded in 2011, with offices in Malta, Greece, Georgia, the Isle of Man, and Uruguay. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting and Compliance:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly management accounts and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/local accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory, tax, and financial requirements in Malta.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors for year-end audits and tax compliance.
• Provide detailed variance analysis and insights on financial performance to the Group FC.
• Identify trends and recommend cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements.
• Support group-wide financial projects, initiatives, and strategies.

Internal Controls and Risk Management:

• Maintain and improve internal control processes to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Identify financial risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
• Manage the entity’s cash flow to ensure liquidity and efficient use of cash resources.
• Oversee and mentor any finance team members in Malta

Management:

• Act as the primary finance contact in Malta for internal stakeholders, external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments across the group to drive financial initiatives.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified.
• A minimum of 3 years local experience in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in accounting systems. IFRS/local GAAP
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
