Edmund MacKenzie

Edmund Mackenzie is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in naval architecture and structural integrity management. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Altera Infrastructure since March 2020, Edmund oversees the conversion of oil tankers into Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) units. Previous roles include Senior Engineer and Structural Integrity Engineer at Altera Infrastructure, where responsibilities encompassed technical support, project management, and the management of structural integrity for shuttle tankers and FSOs operating in various global locations. Prior to this, Edmund was a Structural Integrity Engineer at Teekay, focusing on repairs and modifications for the fleet. Extensive experience at Lloyd's Register as a Specialist in the Technical Investigation Department included marine consultancy, failure investigations, and structural plan approval across multiple continents. Edmund holds a Master of Engineering in Marine Technology from Newcastle University.
