Terry Jenkins

Chief Engineer at Altera Infrastructure

Terry Jenkins has an extensive work experience in the maritime engineering field. Terry started their career in 1997 as a Marine Engineering Cadet at Secunda Marine Services Ltd. and then in 1998 worked as a Marine Engineering Cadet at Canship Ugland Ltd. In 1999, they worked as a Third Engineer at Woodward Group and as a Motorman at both Schlumberger/Canship Ugland Ltd and Pride International/Canship Ugland Ltd. In 2000, they became an Electrical Apprentice at GJ Cahill and also worked as a Third Engineer/ERA at Canship Ugland Ltd. From 2003 to 2004, they served as a Motorman at Pride International/Canship Ugland Ltd. Terry then joined Canship Ugland Ltd. in 2005 and held various roles including Second Engineer, Vessel Superintendent-Tankers, and First Engineer. In 2017, they became the Chief Engineer at Altera Infrastructure.

Terry Jenkins attended Jackson Walsh Memorial High from 1995 to 1996. After high school, Terry went on to pursue a Technology Diploma in Marine Engineering at the Marine Institute at Memorial University in St. John's, NL, Canada. It is unclear whether Terry obtained any additional certifications.
