Trond Farstad has a vast and diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Trond began their career as a Maskinist at Seabourn Cruise Line in 1991 and 1992, and later worked as a Chief Engineer at Remøy Management AS and Ødegaard Berging AS. From 1994 to 1997, they joined Seabourn Cruise Line again as a Maskinist. Trond then transitioned to Teekay Corporation, where they held various positions including 1st Engineer, Technical Superintendent, Maintenance Management Engineer, and eventually Chief Engineer. In 2007, they became a Project Manager at Maritime Partner AS before rejoining Teekay Corporation as Chief Engineer from 2008 to 2012.
