Brian Martin Walsh Obe

Brian Martin Walsh OBE has extensive experience in leadership and governance across various organizations. Currently a Member of the Board of Trustees and Committee Member at Home Group since August 2019, Brian also serves as Chair of the Alternative Futures Group since November 2021 and as a Lay Member with NHS England from September 2018. Previous roles include Chair at Derby QUAD (October 2019 - October 2022), Trustee at Social Work Awards (May 2019 - September 2021), and Chair of Camphill Village Trust (January 2017 - September 2021). In addition, Brian held positions as Independent Chair for both Luton Adults Safeguarding Board and West of Berkshire Adults Safeguarding Board. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Management Studies from Nottingham Trent University and an Advanced Award in Social Work from the University of Leicester, among others. Brian’s contributions reflect a strong commitment to social work and community service within the charity sector.
