Nikki Alvarez

Nikki Alvarez has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology and research fields. Nikki is currently working as the Director of Project Management at Alterome Therapeutics, Inc, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, Nikki worked at Scripps Research, where they held various roles including Director and Associate Director of Alliances from 2017 to 2022. Nikki also worked as the Director of Alliances at Calibr at Scripps Research from 2019 to 2022. Before joining Scripps Research, Nikki worked at the California Institute for Biomedical Research (Calibr) as an Associate Director of Project Management from 2015 to 2017. Nikki also served as an Institute Fellow at Calibr from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, Nikki worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The Scripps Research Institute, Florida from 2009 to 2013 and as an Adjunct Professor at Florida Atlantic University from 2009 to 2012. Nikki began their career as a Graduate Research Associate at Tufts University from 2003 to 2009. Throughout their career, Nikki has gained significant experience in project management, alliances, and research.

Nikki Alvarez completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science at Colorado State University from 1998 to 2002. Following this, they pursued higher education at Tufts University where they obtained their PhD in Cell and Molecular Nutrition, spanning from 2003 to 2009.
