Xuefeng Zhu

Xuefeng Zhu has extensive experience in the field of medicinal chemistry. Xuefeng currently holds the position of Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry at Alterome Therapeutics, Inc, starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Kura Oncology, Inc., where they served as Senior Director of Medicinal Chemistry from July 2021 to March 2022, and as Director of Medicinal Chemistry from September 2019 to June 2021.

Before joining Kura Oncology, Xuefeng Zhu spent a significant portion of their career at the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation, starting in March 2006 and concluding in September 2019. Following this, from 1998 to 2001, they pursued a Postdoctorate in Organic & Bio-Organic Chemistry at Texas A&M University. Lastly, from 2001 to 2004, they completed another Postdoctorate in Organic Chemistry at UCLA.
