Karen Sanford

Karen Sanford has extensive work experience in the legal field. Karen began their career at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP as an Associate in Construction from 2004 to 2008. Karen then joined Intrawest, where they held various roles including Vice President of Risk & Litigation from 2008 to 2014, Deputy General Counsel and Vice President of Risk & Litigation from 2014 to 2015, and finally Chief General Counsel from 2015 to 2017. Currently, Karen works at Alterra Mountain Company, where they started as Chief Legal Officer in 2017 and now holds the position of Chief Legal & Social Responsibility Officer from September 2021 onwards.
