Jim Freeman

James Freeman is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in real estate and transactional law. Currently serving as Deputy General Counsel at Alterra Property Group since June 2021, James previously held senior roles at Prologis, Liberty Property Trust, and StoneMor Partners L.P., where responsibilities included managing the acquisition, disposition, and development of industrial facilities across the United States. James began their career at Latham & Watkins and subsequently worked as a Senior Attorney at Blank Rome LLP, advising various clients on complex real estate transactions and project development. James holds a JD from Washington and Lee University School of Law and a BS in Renewable Resource Economics from Penn State University.
