Sujata Pathak

Sujata Pathak has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Sujata currently holds the position of Director, Stars Strategy and Health Programs at Alterwood Health Management Company, Inc. since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield from 2020 to 2022. During their tenure, they held the roles of Manager, Data Analytics, Stars/ Risk from August 2021 to January 2022, and Program Manager, Stars/ Risk from November 2020 to August 2021.

Before joining CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Sujata was associated with The University of Maryland Medical System where they served as Manager, Data Solutions and STARS from July 2016 to November 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Inovalon from 2012 to 2016, holding the positions of Senior Business Analyst and Business Analyst, Healthcare Data Analytics.

Sujata also has experience in the industrial sector, having worked at Air Liquide as an Associate Research Scientist from January 2009 to May 2012. Sujata started their career as a Business Analyst Intern at Delta Airlines in 2008 and served as a Teaching Assistant at the Georgia Tech Athletic Association from July 2007 to April 2008. Additionally, they gained engineering experience as an Engineering Intern - Electrical Business Group (EBG) at Larsen & Toubro Limited from July 2006 to December 2006.

Sujata Pathak completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Production Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Sujata Pathak has obtained several certifications. These include "Leadership Foundations," "Leading with Emotional Intelligence," and "Time Management for Managers" from LinkedIn, all obtained in November 2021. Sujata has also completed the "Machine Learning" course from Stanford University through Coursera in February 2018.

Sujata Pathak has further acquired certifications in various subjects such as "Update in Health Information Technology: Healthcare Data Analytics" from Oregon Health and Science University in June 2017, "Microsoft Verified Certificate for Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI" from edX in August 2016, "R Programming," "Data Visualization and Communication with Tableau," and "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera, all obtained in April and May 2016. Sujata holds the "SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9" certification from SAS obtained in December 2015, and the "SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9" certification obtained in April 2014.
