Steve Voice

Steve Voice has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Steve most recently worked as a Sales and Training Consultant at altia starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Career Coach at Coventry University from December 2021. Before that, they were a Policing & Security Advisor at The Resilience Advisors Network starting in January 2020. Steve also worked as a Consultant at Badger Software from November 2019. Steve established their own consulting company, S. W. Voice (Consultant) Ltd., as a Director in July 2019. Steve served as a Board Trustee at Miricyl from July 2019 to May 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Non-Executive Director with strategic advisory responsibilities from 2019 to 2019.

Steve's earlier experience includes serving in various leadership roles at Surrey Police & Sussex Police. Steve was the Head of Planning & Resourcing for both police forces, leading diverse responsibilities such as emergency planning, counter-terrorism contingencies, and coordination of political party conferences. Steve achieved significant accomplishments during their tenure, including cost savings and successful joint military and police exercises. Steve also served as a Force Operations Planning Manager and Chief Superintendent BCU Commander at Sussex Police, where they managed a large budget and delivered crime reductions and increased public confidence in the police. Steve's previous roles also include Superintendent positions at Sussex Police, where they commanded critical and major incidents, managed projects to reduce crime, and delivered strategic and tactical command for firearms operations.

Prior to their career in law enforcement, Steve worked as a Chief Inspector (Operations) at Gatwick Airport.

Steve Voice completed a Diploma in Coaching & Mentoring with a focus on Personal Awareness and Self-Improvement at the Institute of Counselling from 2021 to 2022. Steve also obtained a Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute in Business/Commerce, General from the Business Continuity Institute London in 2017. In 2014 to 2015, Steve Voice earned a CMI Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute, specializing in Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Steve pursued Postgraduate studies in Policing Studies at the University of Sussex, completing their studies sometime before 2001. Additionally, Steve Voice received an A1 Assessor qualification from City & Guilds.
