Masood is an advisor and senior consultant to DFIs, foundations, impact funds, and investors. He focuses on strategy, structuring, and implementing early (and SME) stage investment and mezzanine finance funds; blended financing structures, investment readiness, and post-investment support models; developing the local fund management ecosystems; and mobilizing capital to catalyze early-stage investing and advance SDGs.

Masood also has various advisor positions in his current portfolio; he is a senior advisor for Early Stage & Venture Finance – Fund Design and Launch (Kenya & Ghana) for The World Bank, Department of Finance, Competitiveness, and Innovation Global Practice. He advises in Strategy and Architecture – SDG Investment Fund & Gender Lens Investing for FinDev (DFI) Canada. He is an advisor for Business Incubation Hubs and SME Venture & Growth Finance, Central Asia for Aga Khan Foundation, Switzerland. He also serves as Board Representative, Portfolio Company, Kenya for Kampani NV, Agri Focused Impact Investor. He is a consultant in the Assessment of Private Equity/Venture Capital in East Africa and Role of Technical Assistance to Support Growth Ready SMEs for The World Bank, Investment Funds Group.
