Christine Calabrese

Christine Calabrese is an experienced educator and human resources professional with a background in language instruction and intercultural exchange. Currently serving as an Assistant Language Teacher at ALTIA CENTRAL since September 2023, Christine teaches English and foreign language studies, prepares teaching materials, and assists Japanese teachers in public schools. Previously, Christine was part of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program from July 2018 to July 2023, facilitating cultural exchange and assisting in language classes in Japan. Prior experience includes roles in human resources at MERGE and other organizations, where Christine handled recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and employee benefits. Christine holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Boston University and has engaged in various roles, including research assistant, mentor, and teaching assistant, providing a diverse skill set in education and administration.
