Hans Bjarne Solheim

Head of Content Aquisition & Product Strategy at Altibox

Hans Bjarne Solheim has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Hans Bjarne first began their career at Telenor Networks in 1995, where they worked as a Senior Engineer and Project Manager until 2000. Following this, they joined KPMG Advisory as a Business Advisor from 2000 to 2002. Hans Bjarne then moved to Laerdal Medical, where they served as a Process Manager from 2002 to 2003. In 2004, they joined Lyse Tele AS as the Manager of the Infrastructure Department, a position they held until 2008. Hans Bjarne then joined Altibox AS, starting as a Product Manager for Football from 2008 to 2010, then transitioning to the role of Product Manager for TV and Content from 2010 to 2011. Hans Bjarne was later promoted to the position of Head of Products from 2011 until their most recent position as the Head of Content Acquisition and Product Strategy since July 2012.

Hans Bjarne Solheim began their education in 1988 at the University of Stavanger, where they pursued an unspecified degree. Hans Bjarne attended the university for four years, until 1991. Following this, they joined the University of Bristol in 1992 and completed a Master of Science degree in Engineering, specializing in Electronics & Communications. Their studies at Bristol ended in 1994. Continuing their education, Solheim enrolled in the BI Norwegian Business School from 2000 to 2002, obtaining a Master of Management degree in Business Management. Lastly, in 2003, they returned to the University of Stavanger for a short period to pursue a field of study in Educational Science, which came to an end the following year in 2004.
