Steve Thompson

Steve Thompson has a strong background in technical operations and unified communications. Steve worked as a Director of Support and Operations at Altigen from April 2022, and previously served as a Senior Collaborations Architect for the same company. Prior to that, they were the Head of Technical Operations at Altiatech Ltd from March 2017 to December 2021, where they specialized in unified communications and led a team in delivering solutions to customers. From September 2012 to February 2017, Steve worked as a Head of Technical Operations at Novus MSP Ltd, providing IT consulting services and assisting with the development of managed service offerings. Earlier in their career, they held the role of UC/Exchange Consultant at System Centric Ltd from June 2004 to October 2012.

Steve Thompson attended Newcastle College from 1992 to 1996, where they earned an HND in Music Technology. In addition to their formal education, Steve has obtained several certifications from Microsoft. These include the MCITP: Office 365, Administrator certification, the MCTS: Office 365, Administration certification, the MCSA: Windows Server 2012 certification, the MCSE: Communication certification, the MCSE: Private Cloud certification, and the MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional certification. Steve obtained these certifications between January and April of 2013.
