Mara Davis

Mara Davis has extensive work experience in compliance and operations roles. Mara is currently the Chief Compliance Officer at Altimeter Capital, a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to that, Mara worked at Optima Partners Compliance Advisory as an Associate Director from October 2020 to March 2021, and as a Senior Compliance Associate from March 2019 to October 2020. Before Optima Partners, they were a Compliance Associate at Perella Weinberg Partners from July 2018 to February 2019. Mara also has experience in operations, having worked as a Compliance & Operations Associate at Donald Smith & Co., Inc. from December 2017 to July 2018, and as an Operations Associate from May 2016 to December 2017. Their earlier work experience includes roles such as an Executive Assistant at Precision Eye Care from September 2015 to May 2016, a Volunteer Research Assistant at Vanderbilt University from August 2014 to August 2015, and a Business Office Assistant at Precision Eye Care from May 2010 to August 2014. Additionally, Mara served as an Emergency Medical Technician Instructor at Stony Brook University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine for a brief period in 2013, and as a Marketing Intern at Judith Ripka in the summer of 2011.

Mara Davis began their education in 2010 at the University of Miami. Mara attended this institution until 2011, but it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or focused on a specific field of study. In 2013, they enrolled at Vanderbilt University, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience. Mara successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2015. Later on, in 2019, they furthered their education by attending the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists. At this institution, Mara obtained a certification as a Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist. The duration of their program at this organization is unknown.
