John J. Suschak III

John J. Suschak III, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the field of translational science and infectious diseases. From 2021 to present, they have worked at Altimmune, Inc. where they held the positions of Translational Science Director and currently serves as the Senior Director of Translational Science. Prior to this, they worked at the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases from 2015 to 2021, starting as a National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine Postdoctoral Associate and later becoming a Scientist III/Principal Investigator and a Principal Investigator for The Geneva Foundation. From 2004 to 2009, they worked as an Associate Scientist at Advanced Bioscience Laboratories.

John J. Suschak III, Ph.D. holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biomedical Science from UMass Chan Medical School, which they obtained from 2009 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University from 2005 to 2008. John J. completed their undergraduate education at Boston University, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from 2000 to 2004.
