Sambath Chung

Sambath Chung, PhD, has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and biotechnology industries. Sambath'smost recent position was as a Senior Director of IT at Altimmune, Inc., starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Director of IS at REGENXBIO Inc. from 2015 to 2023. In this role, they strategically planned and built IT and IS teams and systems, created SOPs and policies for compliance, and was responsible for IT General Controls.

Before joining REGENXBIO, Sambath worked as a Technical Sales Consultant at Elsevier from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they served as a Business Analyst at MedImmune from 2008 to 2012 and as a Manager of Genomics Services at Gene Logic from 2005 to 2008. Sambath also gained research experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University from 2002 to 2004.
