Bruno B.

Bruno B. has a diverse background in cybersecurity with a focus on cloud security. Bruno began their career in the U.S. Navy as an IT1, where they served as a Network Security Officer and implemented security measures on a legacy network. Bruno then moved on to work at CACI International Inc as a Data Analysis Engineer, responsible for quality assurance and testing software in a Linux environment.

Bruno's experience continued at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) as a Command Information Assurance Officer and Network Engineer, where they oversaw the information systems security program and served as the Information Assurance representative for the organization. Bruno also worked as an Information Security Engineer (Contractor) at San Diego Gas & Electric before transitioning to the education field.

In the education sector, Bruno served as an Adjunct Instructor at ITT Technical Institute, teaching Risk Management in Information Systems and Hacker Techniques, Tools, and Incident Handling.

Bruno then entered the private sector, working at Teradata as a Senior Cloud Security Engineer/Architect. In this role, they were responsible for the security architecture and policies of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure development areas. Bruno played a key role in achieving various certifications and attestations, such as ISO 27001 and SOC-2 Type II reports. Bruno also assisted in building the Teradata labs managed cloud environment and implemented security measures.

Following Teradata, Bruno joined Webroot as a Cloud Security Architect/Manager. Bruno'sresponsibilities included managing security operations and architecture in AWS, implementing controls for ISO 27001 certification, and designing and launching the Information Security program.

Most recently, Bruno served as the Director of Cyber Security at Tillster, Inc., where they led the company's cybersecurity efforts until 2022. Currently, they are working as the Director of Cloud Security at Altium®, where they oversee cloud security initiatives.

Bruno B. earned a Master of Science degree in Cyber Security and Information Assurance from National University in 2012-2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information System Security from ITT Technical Institute in 2006-2009. Bruno also holds multiple certifications in various security and technology fields, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in 2017, CCNA: Security from Cisco in 2012, CISSP from (ISC)² in 2011, GSLC from GIAC Certifications in 2009, and MCSE: Security from Microsoft in 2009. Bruno also completed the course "DevSecOps: Building a Secure Continuous Delivery Pipeline" from LinkedIn in an unknown year.
