Cormac Long

Cormac Long's work experience includes their current role as the Head of Nexar Data Engineering at Altium® since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at BigPay | Challenge Banking, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Engineering Manager (Data Science), Head of Data Science, and Senior Data Engineer from 2019 to 2023. Before that, they worked at Solarflare Communications as a Staff Application Engineer and Senior Application Engineer from 2013 to 2019. Cormac also worked at Cambridge Temperature Concepts Limited as a Business Development Manager and Senior Statistician from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they had a role as a Software Consultant at Kynesim Ltd in 2008 and as a Lecturer at the University of Southampton in 2007.

Cormac Long received a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Southampton in 2007. Cormac attained an M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from the University College Cork in 2000 and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Statistics from the same institution in 1999.
