Roderick Smith

Roderick Smith is the current Chief Geologist at Altius Minerals. Roderick has held this position since February 2011. Prior to their current role, Roderick served as a Senior Project Geologist at Vale from October 2005 to February 2011. Roderick also held positions as a Project Geologist and Geologist at Altius Resources Inc. and Cominco American Inc (Teck) respectively. Roderick began their career in 1995 as a Geological Field Assistant at the Geological Survey of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Roderick Smith has a Master's Degree in Geology from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Bachelor's Degree in Geology from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
