Dr. A P Mukherjee

Dr. A P Mukherjee has extensive work experience in the geology and operations fields. Dr. A P started their career as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the University of Delhi, where they worked on a project related to sedimentary aquifers. Dr. A P also served as a Scientist at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, managing a national-scale land use and land cover mapping project using remote sensing.

Dr. Mukherjee then worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at DAAD German Academic Exchange Service, where they contributed to the GRACE hydrology project by evaluating terrestrial water mass balance using GIS. Dr. A P also served as the Director of Operations at L1 Technologies, where they implemented innovative techniques and operational skills to increase production and delivery rates.

At RMSI, Dr. Mukherjee worked as a Project Manager and Business Development Manager, responsible for operations management of Land Information System projects and analyzing the market for further product development. Dr. A P also worked at BP as a GIS Specialist and Wellsite Geologist, responsible for coordinating spatial information between different teams.

Dr. Mukherjee then joined Greka Drilling Limited as a Manager of the Operations Control Center, managing remote operations for onshore drilling rigs across India. Dr. A P also contributed to concluding Indian CBM deals as a liaison officer. At Greka Group, they held various roles such as Sr. Manager of the Integrated Operations Control Center (OCC), Director of Operations (OCC), and Chief Geologist of the GGZ block. In these positions, they improved CNG sales by 20% through protocol changes and implemented a separator project worth 100K USD.

Throughout their career, Dr. Mukherjee has showcased their expertise in geoscience, remote sensing, GIS, and operations management. Their work has contributed to significant projects and has been recognized for its impact and innovative approach.

Dr. A P Mukherjee completed their B.Sc (Hons) in Geology/Earth Science at the University of Delhi from 1994 to 1997. Dr. A P then pursued a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Applied Geology at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee from 1997 to 2000. After that, they furthered their education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geology, Hydrogeology, Remote Sensing, and GIS from the University of Delhi from 2001 to 2004.
