Ashok Ramachandran

Ashok Ramachandran has extensive experience in product marketing, business development, and supply chain management. Ashok currently serves as the Vice President of Product Marketing at Altor Solutions since September 2023.

Prior to that, they worked at ESAB, where they held various roles including Senior Director General Manager of Product Marketing, Global Business Director, and Senior Director Plant Manager of Spares Operations. Ashok was responsible for driving revenue growth, developing product portfolios, streamlining operations, and enhancing the customer experience.

Before ESAB, Ashok worked at Lennox International as an Inventory Optimization Manager, where they managed stocking levels for retail stores and implemented processes to streamline stocking plans.

Ashok also worked at Victor Technologies International, Inc., where they served as the Senior Manager of ISC Analytics and Strategy, Senior Materials Manager, Manager of Demand Planning, and Senior Supply Chain Analyst. In these roles, they oversaw production planning, procurement, inventory control, demand synchronization, and supply chain optimization.

Ashok also has previous experience at Thermadyne as a Senior Production Planner Buyer and at LSI Logic as a Demand Planning Analyst.

Ashok Ramachandran has an Executive Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Executive Management from Southern Methodist University, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Ashok also holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from Wichita State University, obtained from 2001 to 2004. Ashok has a Bachelor's Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering from Shivaji University, obtained from 1996 to 2000. Ashok completed their high school education with a Math and Science Major at Madras Christian College from 1991 to 1995. Prior to that, they attended Ida Scudder High School from 1981 to 1991. Ashok Ramachandran has also obtained several certifications such as Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ in 2014, Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS in 2006, Certified in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM) from APICS in 2005, Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS in 2004, and Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) from ASQ in 2003.
