Brandon Carter

Brandon Carter is an experienced professional in flow cytometry and cell sorting, currently serving as the Flow Cytometry Core Manager at Altos Labs since November 2021. Previously, Brandon worked as a Field Application Scientist for the Bigfoot Cell Sorter at Thermo Fisher Scientific and served as the Director of the FACS Facility at the Palo Alto Veterans Institute for Research, where responsibilities included overseeing the maintenance of multiple BD Aria cell sorters and BD LSR analyzers. Brandon also held the position of Flow Cytometry Applications Specialist at Miltenyi Biotec, providing consultation and support for their MACSQuant product line, and managed CyTOF operations at Stanford University, focusing on flow cytometry for research applications. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Biological Oceanography from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis.
