Connie Ha

Connie Ha is a Senior Scientist in Cell Biology at Altos Labs, a position held since July 2023. Previously, Connie worked at the University of California, San Francisco, as Director of Microbial Culturing and Microbial Genomics at the Benioff Center for Microbiome Medicine, overseeing operations and advising 96 investigators on host-microbiome studies. An R&D Consultant for Editrix Wellness from February 2020 to December 2021, Connie contributed to the commercialization of skin microbiome products. Prior roles include Research Scholar and Postdoctoral Scientist at Cedars-Sinai, where innovative research led to a patent and publication in Cell, and various academic positions at the University of Sydney, including Research Mentor, Laboratory Instructor, and Guest Lecturer. Connie holds a PhD in Microbiology and a BSc (Advanced) in Biochemistry and Microbiology from the University of Sydney.
